Has anyone tried using acylic slices for inserts in wood for Celtic knots? CA the best adhesive? Any problems to watch for?

Gary, Haven't done an acrylic with wood celtic but have done aqcrylic on acrylic. Used CA and sharp tools. Drill slow and keep the hole clear. I've done many acrylic and wood segmentations and the same holds true.
