Acrylic fumes

I would not think that completly cured resin smell is toxic but I wear a Fine Dust Respirator anytime I make shavings or am cutting.
 
here's a trick that I discovered while turning deer antler. Where dust mask and suck on one of those red/white mint candies you find at the restaraunt. I bet Altoids would work as well

If cured acrylics are causing you this big of a problem, it sounds like you need a system like the Trend Airshield.

A dust collection system is all I require, but a neighbor has real breathing issues with acrylic.

IMHO, the dust from exotic woods are far more dangerous than Acrylic, PR or PU. If I still turned much wood, the Trend would be a must have for me.

The turning dust from ANYTHING is dangerous. You may want to check into the Trend.
