Accurate Stop For Fence

This is something I've been wanting to make for awhile. So simple to make. Just an accurate stop that attaches to my fence when I'm cutting something longer than my sled allows. Adds exactly 1 inch, so all the math you need to do is add 1 inch to the measure on the saw.

This is to provide space so not run the material against the fence while while making the cut using the sled/miter gage? If so, I just use a block of wood clamped to my fence.
BTW, your jig is finished better than some of my finished furniture. :p

Exactly how it works. I always did the clamp thing too. With this though, I can now use the scale on the table saw and it will be pretty accurate. The gap is dead on 1 inch.
