Abrasive Brushes?

Does anyone have any experience with using abrasive nylon brushes to clean/polish the INSIDE of the holes in our blanks? Seems like they might work to clean up the more transparent blanks. I've found these possibilities:

Comments and suggestions will be appreciated. I don't want to order something that others might have found didn't work too well.

80 grit is a bit coarse and 500 grit is too fine to be useful at the begining, plus a min. of 12.
Maybe find a source with the grits and sizes required and it should work.
