I joined IAP last month, so I figure it's about time that I should post some pictures of my pens. This was my first attempt at pen photography, so please be gentle.
The first two pens are CSUSA Americana's that I made last weekend. One is using the bronze fleck acrylic from Bear Tooth. The second was made from wild olive from Zambezi Exotics, sanded to MM1500, finished with CA (no BLO) and then buffed with the Beall system.
The third pen is a Jr. Statesman Stars and Stripes that I made for a silent auction fund raiser at the Fredericksburg VA Lyons Club's Art and Wine Show last November. It was sanded to 600, finished with 3 coats of Watco wipe-on poly then buffed as well. The picture was taken by the show organizer while it was in the presentation box, so the angle is odd.
Any comments are welcome.
