I'm like a kid at Christmas. I've never been to one before, and I am trying to figure out how to be in two or three places at once

There are so many great turners and I want to see them ALL!

By Sunday night, my tail will be dragging.

I'll be there and have my IAP hat on. Hard to tell who the pen turners are, but they do attend.
I agree, it is impossible to see it all but it is fun (and tiring) to try.
Alan Trout from the San Antonio chapter will be doing a demo on CA finishing. It won't be on pens, but the principles still apply and he has some neat suggestions.
Hope to see some of you there.

There will be a meeting of the AWW Principally Pens virtual club (or what ever it is called) on Friday evening. Check your schedule when you register. Have fun.
Do a good turn daily!

Been there done that. My wife and I put all the people I want to see and then start illuminating as we look at their websites and the amount of rotations they are doing. Sometimes you get to the end of the process and have room to see more. Hopefully I will see you there.

I enjoyed the sales area the most. You get right next to the demonstrators, many of them working. Those huge demo rooms can be a little congested and possibly standing room only if a popular demo.

Only have to register and pay if attending the demonstrstions. The trade show can be attended without registering...If things haven't changed.
Do a good turn daily!

My first (but certainly not last) symposium was Tampa; going to the Pittsburgh iteration next year.

Had a great time and met some really nice folks. Do check out the pen meeting on Friday evening. Kurt Hertzog runs the meeting and Ken Nelson from Kallenshaan Woods will gladly collect your 1$ annual dues.

Phoenix is just to far this year.:frown:

I've already got that demo on my schedule LOL.

It looks like the meeting with Kurt Herzog (Principally Pens) is Thursday night, after Registration this year, instead of Friday. I have it on my schedule, too!
