Ted that is another beauty. I hope you are keeping some kind of catalog or album with all you different wrappings. It would be nice to at some later date look back at all your creations. Thanks for showing.
I use CA to seal my thread after I finish wrapping it, then put it in a mold and pour polyester resin in and put it in a pressure pot for 12 hours. Once out of the pot I let it finish curing for another 12 hours or so. Once the resin is good and cured, I trim the ends, square up the ends and then turn it to whatever pen I want it for. Most of what I am making, though, is for sale. Well, it will be soon at Classic Nib.
Fantastically Beautiful Wrapping Ted.
Extremely Eye Catching.
Lovely Even Wrap, of Well Chosen Colours, in a Magnificent Pattern.
Congratulations, on your Work, and your Blank Manufacturing Venture.
Brian.
Thanks y'all. I've been having all kinds of fun lately. Here's a few more I just did the last few days. Now I need to cast them and out the door they go. The first one is a custom order and I'm waiting on a dark green thread to come in so I can put that as the outer band of the diamond. The others are a Tiger wrap, a metallic red, white, and blue diamond and then a regular red, white and blue diamond that I did while doing a live cast on Facebook so people could see the wrapping process. I'll be doing these live broadcast on Facebook pretty much every day. It's on Wrapped Creations. https://www.facebook.com/WrappedThreadCreations/ if you are interested just stop by any time and see if the camera is going.
