As a retired civilian employee of the CHP and the brother in law of retired CHP Sgt. and his wife who was civilian employee also we are very aware of what happens during this time of year. We have new CHP officer in the family who will be spending his first holiday season on the road this year. We pray for his safety along with the safety of the public. That video was passed around our CHP retires forum it is very good. We need to remember that the Law Enforcement has to pick up the pieces of those who are involved in these incidents wether guilty or innocent. I worked in field office one year at Christmas when we lost a on duty officer to a drunk driver I still think of him today and this was 30 year ago. Be safe don't drink and drive.
