a thank you came full circle

a few weeks ago i made a pen for a cousin in law for his dad for a birthday, well i got an email from the same cousin that he was in the neighborhood to see his brothers band play and i went out for a beer, well the recipient ,(his dad) was there and i got to get a thank you from him and his wife directly that was really nice, usually you sell a pen to the end user but to sell one to be used as a gift, you seldom get to be in contact with the other end user, it was really nice,
