Well it was my birthday yesterday and among other things I got a WC gc from my sister. So, I went to WC today and bought some stuff including an ultra cigar kit. Some of you may remember when I made the elephant pen using a blank Jeff Powell made. Well he also included this one for free and I had no clue what was inside. So today I decided to turn it since I was off work. To my amazement and surprise it looks like it has some sort of pods in there. I obviously had to use the ultra kit I just bought to showcase this blank. So thank you Jeff! This was one cool blank to work with. Even after 10 thick ca coats I can still feel some textures from the pods, but I think it is cool personally. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

WOW! Todd that is an outstanding pen. Whatever the imbedments are, they look like fossils of something. That is a way kool pen. Your fit and finish is right on and the hareware and blank are a great match. Boy, you done good!
