Since I was building my PITH pen, my wife asked if I would build a pen for a coworker who is retiring In Sept. He likes wood, lives in a wood cabin down here. So I chose a walnut crotch wood blank. It has an 8mm tube in the top of the bottom section and a 7mm tube in the nib end. This lets me taper the nib end of the blank a little further down than the 8mm nib. it uses a "Private Reserve" ink refill. It is about 10mm wide at the top of the bottom blank and the top blank is 11mm in dia. Solid sterling silver parts. Nice simple Design I think he will like.
Comments welcome.

I'm sure there is some wild figure going on in there.(I have troubles getting the dark colored woods to really show off themshelves too)

I'm sure he love it!!

Lets try this

Focusing on the center band the camera brings the picture down, this is lightned up closer to the actual pen figure. It just tends to blow out the silver at the top.
