We had to say goodbye to our loving 13 year old golden doodle Lila Friday morning. She was always such a love, and always ready to put her head on your knee. Those who met her know what a sweet dog she was. She will be so very missed! We love you pup!

So sorry about your loss, Jason !!

I know what you're going through from my own real experiences.

Sorry for your loss. All pet owners go through this devastating loss all too often in our lives. They never live as long as we would wish and give us so very much more than just love.

My condolences for your loss... we have our Maggie, about 13 or 14 that has a cancerous growth on her leg... doesn't slow her too much, but we're watching and dreading the day she becomes disabled. She's our UPS and USPS greeter, plus whoever pulls up into the drive way... she loves everybody. Only time she really wants in the house is when the neighbor starts his target practice, she doesn't like gun shots or thunder.

When Dianne go so sick a few years ago, she wanted in regularly though and would lay on the couch with her.

As I have said, I have been there to the point of not wanting to get any more dogs (now we have two). It is no consolation, but I hope they live to 12 or 13. We haven't been so fortunate with all. My sincerest condolences.

Sad indeed. We lost our both our Golden Doodles a few years ago within a year of each other. The younger one, Zoe, was a ringer for Lila. We now have a 2 year old miniature GD and she is a handful.

Condolences. Like others here, we just lost or 14 1/2 year old Boxer Emily and our 12 year old cat Henry in April

20181202_142036.jpg. These are not just animals but family members. Both made the move with us from PA to our new home in ON. This is one of my favorite photos of both together about a year ago. Henry wanted Emily's bed and he was darn sure he could push her out.

So sorry for your loss. As was said earlier, they are indeed family members and the loss leaves a big and painful hole that I know all too well. I've been there a few times, too.
