For those who do not know, L. Micheal Fultz passed away yesterday. Here is the announcement made by Don Lavin..
"It is with the deepest regret that I announce the death of L. Michael Fultz, long time friend and partner in the Chicago Pen Show, earlier today. Mike had been very ill for about 3 weeks spending that time in a hospital in Janesville, WI. He had suffered a collapsed lung and other ailments which had weakened him considerably especially since he had been suffering from diabetes and heart problems for many years. He knew that he would not lead a very long life and the fact that he survived to the age of 66 was always a great surprise to him as he was the longest living male in his family by over 20 years on his 66th birthday.
His wife, Martha, is presently trying to come to grips with his death and so I cannot announce any plans for a funeral or memorial service yet but as soon as I have further information I will let the pen world know as much of his life centered on his love of writing instruments and the friendships he has made over the past 30 years because of his passionate love of collecting and pens. Again, may he rest in peace! Don"
