....just trying something different. The wood is useless spalted Cottonwood that Jim Burr stabilized for me. Jim did a great job and the wood was worth saving. I built this pen on Smitty's V2 although I did not need the extra space garnered with his component set. I just like the sets he puts out. I still have 21 pieces left too! After turing the blank I carved out a river pathway, painted the blue colored waterway and then made my cast. This exploratory avenue has opened further more ideas for me. C~N~C's welcomed. .....thanks all for the comments. I wasn't was not thinking worthless wood, but looking at the turned blank, to me that is just what it looks like. I reckon I should post a picture as I am of the MALE gender! Mr. Jan Sarras, my Bride of 24 years is Kerry, three children and 5 grandchildren. Thanks.....Mr. Janster

Very cool Jan! I though it was a worthless wood resin cast when I 1st looked at it. I'll bet that is really something in person. :good:
