A Reality Wakeup

Boy I just got hit in the pit of my stomach. A very good friend and buddy of mine just passed away. He was 55. Full of life with a great wife and daughter. He had plans to build a home on a golf course which he just recently bought the property for. A huge golf fan. He was a co-worker and we played ball together back in our younger days. He was diagnosed with skin cancer in the middle of last year. Treatment put it in remission for a short time but it was too far gone.

Life is just too short. Live it. Man I am bummed.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I have a good friend who at 61 is in the end stages of prostrate cancer. It has made see that our time is too short here so I've since started to let others that are important to me know what they've meant to me.
