Yes, I enjoy alliteration. My wife got a job at a new school and commissioned eight "Purple Panther" pens for her co-workers for Christmas (turned them all to .500). This is my first attempt at making a number of more-or-less identical pens. I've no idea why some of them have darker purple "splotches". I painted the tubes, blanks, and epoxy with purple paint. Still, I think they came out OK. Sierra Elegant Click component sets and blanks are from Exotic Blanks. Not sure why my camera is washing out the picture (I've set custom WB--the purple is much darker):
