Kit is a BHW Cigar in Platinum (WCO-145-PT), don't know if it is available anymore. Timber is plain-old Paduk. Wet sanded using Mahoney's Walnut Oil - 320 grit thru Mirlon MicroFine Gold. Finish is Mylands Sanding Sealer, 2 coats, and Mylands Friction Polish, 3 coats, hand rubbed between each coat. One coat of hand-rubbed Ren Wax. Photos - still working on this: Flashery Shadow Box, iPhone 7 Plus - no flash.

I will say that most, if not all, of my remaining stock of Cigar Pen kits, will be made utilizing the 1-piece body. I find them easier to make than the conventional 2-piece pen.

Comments welcomed.

They look great.
I do like the look of the one-piece cigars.
I have that on my listing (always growing) of things to try.
Thank you for sharing the pics.

Stay well.

Thanks Chris, thanks Tom. Of recent times, I don't think Paduk gets a lot of love from turners. I rate it up there with my favorites, and it turns so easily.

So Awesome, it has been on my list to make for 4.5 years. I need to jump on it!

Love it!

I really enjoy seeing the one-piece cigar. Kudos. And a hearty vote for the Padauk. Used it often and fortunately have lots left. Once you master an open grain finish it is a beautiful timber.

Well done.
