This could be a Zen, but for now its my new Pool Cue Chalk Holder
Burl Edge, Embossed Aluminum Tape and Watch Gears
the leather chalk holder i also made from 2mm leather and is hand stitched with Synthetic Sinew

I love the fragmented edge you have created with the Crinkle Aluminium, and Watch Parts, Looks Spectacular, you should include that Technique in some Pen Blanks, if you haven't already.

Good study in contrasts between this style and those made by Farmer. Both are excellent craftwork, and very different.

I like how you seamlessly blended the tape and watch gears with the burl edge. Instead of a hard line to distinguish the two, you made it more organic and it flows so well between the two materials. Great chalk holder!

the burl edge used on this was Brown Mallee, these burls are usually pretty prickly which is what gives it the rough look

Brian i have done a number of pens with this combination, i have added a couple of pickies of the pens below
