A pen for Mom

My mother was in town this weekend and wanted a comfort pen. I'm trying to keep mama happy. She chose Amboyna burl. This is my third attempt at a CA/BLO finish. I'm still working on that part of pen making. Thanks for looking.

Mom has good taste, Gary. Nice looking pen. The CA finish isn't difficult, but it isn't a cake walk either. Woods with small voids, like some burls, can be tricky. I just had to refinish a Gent in Walnut burl because of these tiny voids. Just keep at it, you'll get it. [^]
