As in the past... this student was turned away/expelled from other Child Care Centers in my community 4 years ago. And he excelled with my staff.

"John" is diagnosed as having Aspargers's Syndrome, Autism and ADHD. John is bright, well beyond his class level for achievement, but is simply, not nice to his peers!!!

But, I believe he will be fine. My opinion, he has NO clinical problems (I do have a background in this area), just family issues and a poor family environment; I actually have high hopes for him. These are my opinions only!

I believe he will actually do very well. John is bright, can adapt to new expectations, and when in the right environment, will excel. Our other students accepted him, and he was "one of us."

John graduated from my Child Care Center this month, and as such, he was able to pick out a kit and blank for a pen.

This will be his tomorrow!

If you find appropriate, ask John to pick out another kit and blank, and I will turn and send to you/ him, or I can just surprise him. I know many who suffer from the above; I also know many that have overcome/learned to cope. Just PM with what he wants and where to send (again, if you think it is appropriate). I believe that every needs to know they have someone in their corner.

Your gesture will go a long way with John and KARMA will pay you back, you just never know when.
Cheers

Beautiful pen,and story behind it.

It's great that he has such a positive & caring person in his life, you have surely helped shape a bright future for him.

I wish there were more people like you in the world!

Tony, that is very generous of you. I relayed this to John, and he said he would like for his sister the get the pen :good::smile-big::handshake::highfive::RockOn:
Not much more positives I can add as a teacher! These are the moments we look forward to.

Addison picked out a PSI Princess Kit, and any pink blank.

I'll PM you my address.

Thank You!

I have plenty of pink, but will have to order the princess kit. As long as he could wait.. I have Diva Charm kit, but I really want him to have what he wants for his sister, I also have a liberty, and many others. Just let me know in the PM. Thanks!

Addison says the Diva Charm is perfect, and says "Thank You Mr Tony."

For Your Sudent's Sister

Hi Mark:

I finally finished the pink princess for your student's sister. I will mail it on Monday. I had it turned two weeks ago and then I got side tracked with "urgent" pen requests. I hope your address is the same as it was three weeks ago when I promised the pen.

I hope she likes it.

Hi Tony: Addison is still on my enrollment for the fall school-age program, which started this past Wednesday, so we are good there.

As of 10 minutes ago my wife has not moved my stuff to the barn, so the last address is still good :tongue:.

And, while both the pens from both you and I are wonderful, being taught how to be generous to others is an even more powerful gift.

Finally, having another totally random stranger (YOU) make an unexpected random act of kindness, is an added element for these two little nippers. I fully believe in random acts of kindness being catalysts for many, many future ARK, as the recipients pass along their experience.

Thank you Tony!

I just realized, I made the princess, not the diva charm. Before I mail the princess, do she want the diva charm?
