I love this wood and it probably shows. I had already made the Trimline for my wife and made a Designer to match. The figure requires slightly delicate turning especially at the ends of each tube.

The black was black acrylic acetate with very thin white lines. Plenty of polish time and buffing was needed for this pen. I liked the result enough to make a few more of these in the future.

Very good job !! I like the not so glassy looking finish on the wooden pens. Makes them look warmer in tone and feel more natural in the hand. Jim S

Unfortunately they are as shiny as you can get. The lighting was adjusted to show the wood better.
