I don't do acrylics often, but I'm making exceptions for these.
Gettin ready for College Football:

Pens are Black Titanium and Chrome Cigars each outfitted in segmented orange and blue acrylics I got from WoodNWhimsies.
Finished by wet MicroMeshing 1500 to 12000 then Hut plastic polish.
These are even more orange & blue live than the photos appear.
All comments and criticisms [of the pens] welcome [}:)];)

We've had a lot to cheer about the last 12 months. [8D]
Razorbacks: Bloodwood, holly, ebony.
I haven't seen any wood I could use for the Orange & Blue; going to have to try to dye some curly maple the proper shades and see if I can hit it. These acrylics are a good match though.

Being raised in Tampa and a Gator Fan all my life those are very cool[8D][:p] [:D]very.I need to get some Orange and blue myself...

Yes, I used medium CA. I cover one side thoroughly with it, then press and hold tightly for about 30 seconds, followed by a shot of accelerant on all 4 sides. Just make sure that however you cut the segments, the face is glassy smooth. I'm using carbide bits on my chop saw and table saw, hold downs, & a sled. I've even used a gents back saw (hand saw) to do some segmentation.
If whatever you use to cut the blanks leaves a rough edge, it can be smoothed on a belt sander too -- DAMHIKT [;)]
