This is my first attempt at making a segmented pen.

The pen is an PSI Executive in 24kt Gold. The blank was made by laminating African Black wood, blue dyed big leaf maple, red dyed big leaf maple, orange spiny oyster shell, natural big leaf maple, and green dyed big leaf maple. The pattern was repeated on the other end.

This is also my first pen with a CA finish.

I apologize for the photo quality as I took the picture at work with my NIKON COOLPIX camera.

Great job Elwin.

The segments look very well matched in thickness and the colors are complimentary.

Keep it up.

Elwin, and so....it starts. Good job with the blank. Use that drive to make something more, and different, and unique on all your future projects. Your creative courage and skills are serving you well. And....very nice pen!
