A One Piece Slim

A couple days ago Dudley Young posted a pic of a one piece slimline he made. I liked it. Liked it so much I decided to try one of my own.

It's made of some dyed plywood a co-worker gave me. Segmenting is a combination of two different colors dyed Box Elder burl, pick guard and an old plastic name tag I had lying around.

As always I'm looking for critical critiques so as to improve. I'm still struggling with photos also so any pointers on the pics would also be helpful.

Me too. My co-worker said he got it from a knife maker who uses it for handles.

But, I think the photo would be better on a plain light grey background. Your burl slab is just too distracting.

Very nice. I agree on the background. I use white paper towels for background. BZ
