I don't get to turn a lot of these so I thought I would share. It's a Jr Statesman with a ringneck pheasant blank. I set these tubes aside during the making of the last group of feather blanks. It's a gift for a friend I used to work with who got himself a new office. I thought it was only fitting to have a new desk pen for his new desk.

As always John Your feather blanks are the best. Nice gift. That is what is so great about this hobby. We always can have a gift that is fitting for any occasion. Have to love it. I am in the middle of making a carpenter friend a pen as well as one for my brother and his wife. Doing this while making a bunch for inventory that I will be showing soon. Seeing the JR. Statesman makes me want to dig out my stash of those. They are one of those kits that does not steal the show from the blank and yet is still classy. Again nice job and thanks for showing.
