I was asked by some very good friends to make a knife/pen combo for each of their daughters. The pen, a PSI Graduate in Gun Metal, is for each daughter and the knives are for their boy friends (the boy friends got the better deal 🤔 ). But there were some exceptions to how they wanted them made. The eldest daughter lives in an area where they have a lot of Mesquite on their property and the youngest daughter lives in Portland OR. So the eldest got a Mesquite pen and knife and the youngest got an Olive wood pen and knife from her mom and dads Olive orchard. I loved turning the Olive but the Mesquite was very porous and hard to work with, but the smell was out of this world.
Thanks for looking.

Splendid work Tom! Both sets look excellent and I am sure will be much appreciated. Nothing better these days that a 'self-made' gift.

Stay healthy. 😷 Just a few more months.
