I had a feeling it was going to be a good market day when a fellow showed up at my booth 30 minutes prior to opening. Asked for fountain pens and within 5 minutes purchased one for $250. (Triton FP in abalone). Did not bat an eye. I also sold my oldest and newest pens in inventory. The oldest was a Majestic Squire in spalted maple that I made in 2011. The newest was a Baron rollerball in olive wood that I made yesterday. I made the Triton fountain pen in abalone last year. It was a good day.

Sounds like a fun day.... I miss the market, but not enough inventory or energy to do it this year....and now that Ed's working most weekends, I don't have any help to schlepp the booth into place...I do need to get off my duff and start turning some more though....
