Gidday there new fella here (Ive done the intro in another section
) Just thought Id share a few of the different things Ive made
An artists paintbrush box
The hinges for the above box
Timbers used Jarrah Sepiature Sheoak Huon Pine and Camphor Laurel feet with a Jarrah paint brush for the handle and a paint pallete insert birdseye maple with ruby opal turquoise and malachite. (see below)
Final peice
This is a small bowl with its own saucer made of plum the bowl is just under 2in diameter
My workbench... one of three actually but the one I spent most time making... top is Jarrah 6ft long x 2ft wide and 3in thick stacked boards 1 1/2in thick side by side each 4th board was cut to make an inch gap every 12in for dogs... the side rail is Meranti the legs Tuart and the base Jarrah floorboards
Now for my second or is it third? maybe 5th after the missus and nippers I guess but whatever I love making and giving clocks!!
Mantle clock... top and base Jarrah finials Sheoak clock backing board Sepiature
Seafaring Clock... for the inlaws... Sheoak back plate Banksia sides Jarrah and Sheoak base.
Coffee table... Sheoak (edge to edge)
I am trying like mad to show a couple of other peices but for some weird reason the program wont let them show... maybe I should post them in another post perhaps?
Anyway this gives an idea of some of the other things I make in what I call the "cave" [8D]
Cheers
Shane
