It's been a little chilly to work in the shop last week and we've been running errands most of this week, but did get a few things finished... most of this was started a couple of weeks back before it got cold and I've worked on the sporadically to get them finished...
The pepper mills are both 10 1/4" tall, glue ups that I put together, mostly so I could play with my new joiner... First is Ash, Paduak with a stripe of caribbean rosewood for accent... second is maple, brazilian ebony with Mulberry and Purple heart accents.

The chalice and paten is from cherry wood, the chalice is 7 1/2 tall x 3" dia ... the paten is 8 inches dia x 1 inch high.

The wine glasses are replacements for a customer that bought a set last summer... last day of the market she brought two of them back that they had broken and asked if I could repair them... no way to get the glass out of the stem, so I made two new goblets. The one on the left is one of the originals that has a crack in the glass... the two on the right are the replacements.

The little oak vase is a piece of oak burl that a customer gave me... he stopped by early last summer and said he had a pile of burls, he didn't know what they were, but I was welcome to them.. turned out to be oak burls and most are small, baseball size up to about 7 or 8 inches dia... this was one of the mid sized one...has lots of bark inclusion, it's 6" high x 3" at the widest part... I left the lip a natural edge.
