I find the shape of the black limba bowl interesting and the flame box elder of course catches the eye but the walnut and maple is my favorite.

Walnut and maple works for me too Mike. Any reason for the particular shape you've adopted? Better gluing surface area or was it just the shape that appealed to you? Just curious but nice work !

Anyone who truly enjoys turning should know what you mean. While we may have an idea, the wood tells us what to do and if we listen it generally "turns" out much better than if we do not.

Exactly why I turn down all custom work.... what I see in a bowl blank and what someone else see are two different things and in the end,
the wood tells you what it wants to be.
