Been getting back into the swing of turning pens the last week or so after about 4 years away from pen making. Here is part of a group of round top European ball point pens I've been working on trying out different materials.
First two are Conway Stewart materials Flecked Amethyst and Classic Green.
Next is some vintage Brown Striated Cellulose Acetate.
Then a popular vintage material Cebloplast Serpentine.
Chocolate Banana Chip resin.
And last a group of Flexigran; Tiger Eye, Monet, Autumn and Volcano.
Hope you like them. These were my favorite pens to make when I first started making pens. So classic looking.
Keith

Absolutely STUNNING! I agree with you about the Round Top European - that kit is best copy of Mont Blanc ball point I have run across. What kit platings did you use? How did you finish them?

Kits are Titanium Gold and Platinum plating. To finish materials I wet sand with micro mesh then buff out with Caswell compounds and polish.

Awesome work, Keith! All great pieces, but I really like how that Monet flexigran looks with that pen, in particular.
