a few pens

Been a while since I've posted a pen so here are 3. First one is an Emperor in Buckeye burl with an ebony oops piece. Not sure if I like it?

Second one is Box Elder Burl dyed Brown. Also an Emperor.

Last one is a Zebrawood cigar with Ti Gold.

Any comments (good or bad) welcome. Thanks for looking.

Very nice work, Chris. As expensive as the Emperor kits are, and at the price they seem to sell at, I think the oops band has to go. As good as your work is, start over on that one, IMHO.

Gotta agree with William. A $50 kit deserves better than an oops band. The work, however, looks great.

I agree with Dad, #2 looks really good!!
I also really like the zebrawood cigar. Although, IMO, a black titanium kit might look better than gold.

The oops band probaly would look OK except to us nit pickers here. But your contrasting occlusion filler looks trashy to me. []

I think they are all very, very pretty. Someday soon I will graduate from slimline[] I love #1 with the contrasting woods.

Thanks to all for the comments. The oops was made when everything was already finished, so I couldn't waste the time I put into it. I grabbed a chunk of wood and went at it. I have already taken it apart and put away the kit. I pitched the oops half and turned the lower barrel into a sierra.
