I Like most of them, Chuck. The third one and the horizontal stripes would not be among my personal favs, but we aren't making them for US, we hope someone ELSE loves them!!

I do like your little sets!!!

Good luck!!

they are colorful and different looking..only way to know is try to sell..pictures sometimes make tall things look out of proportion & balance...so it's hard to judge these for overall look...customers are the ultimate judge

Really cool Chuck, I got a grinding mill I have'nt gottten to yet.

Nice finish, Nice shapes, really like the matching salt shakers....

All of them look great. I especially like that they are different than most you see. Nice original design work. Even if you got the ideas from another design, these all look original.

Don't sell your work too cheap.

I'm just getting started making some of these too... hoping to give some as gifts. I would also be interested knowing what you charge for them. Also what sizes do you typically make? I like the idea of the taller mills, but realize that would also require a thicker blank....

I am in the middle of making my first. As with most new projects, I am learning. Peppermills require a number of steps and specialized bits and jam chucks. A friend who did my boring and makes many mills says one takes about four hours of his time before finishing. That is a lot of labor which would require a fairly steep price to make it worthwhile. BTW, this is going to be my personal mill. I don't plan to make more.

Laminate quarter to 3/8" boards together. Can easily make a 12/4 blank and it doesn't cost a lot. Use maple and walnut and it is pretty, too!!
