Black and red blanks joined using 1mm black polystyrene.

The wooden pen (Olivewood ?) using plastic gift cards. Jut cut a notch out of the side and put the plastic in and replaced the piece. Pretty simple. Not real crazy about the pattern.

Excellent Experiments, Butch.
I am not in Love with the just Inserting the Credit Cards, into a continuing Blank, it seems to be "Just for the sake off" rather than as a "Terminating Junction".
The Last two the Olive and Purple Heart is a perfect example of a Terminating Junction, that is from The Olive to the Purple Heart.
A further thought;
That center section of "Purple Heart" would be Ideally suited for Laser Engraving, of a Persons Name, or Company Name, or Logo etc. on the "Shield Effect".
Just an Idea, for extending or utilizing the Concept. Also for Wedding Pens.
Congratulations, I am all excited, the Grey Matter is firing on all cylinders.
