A FEW Jr. STATESMAN PENS

Here's an avocado black which I got from Dawn on a Jr. Statesman. I really like these blanks. Great color.
And second is a acrylic called Black Spalt Pearl on a Jr. Statesman.

I have a avacado blank also that I am going to use. Not sure on what yet but that looks good.

The tubes where painted white and the inside of barrels.

Great looking turns, both of them...but I would have to go with the Spalted look if forced to choose. Really great how it mimics true splated wood.

Keith, You truly are amazing! You turn out pens that are gorgeous!!! and so many! I love Dawn' Avocado PR blank and you did a beautiful job with it. I know you paint your tubes and blanks. If you don't mind me asking, what brand of paint do you use ( Ceramcote, Testors, ..etc) and how long do you let it dry before you glue in the tubes. Thanks so much for showing. Regards, Doc
