A few blanks made in NH

I made these 2 blanks for the Triton Rollerball/Fountain Pen Hardware Set.

This one is stabilized then buckeye burl cast in milky blue Alumilite.

This one is stabilized and dyed spalted maple!

OK so I turned these the rest of the way down tonight and ordered a few Tritons from Ed. These blanks came out much better than even I expected. I will post the finished pens as soon as they get here! You can heckle Ed in the meantime! Just kidding!

Mike. If you don't mind, what did you dye with and what color is that. Did you dye under pressure? Vacuum? It looks wonderful. Much more colorful than the raw spalted maple that I have.

The wood in both of these was dyed using Alumilite dye and Cactus Juice under vacuum. I can get a vacuum to just over 29".
