Just noticed this ad when logging out. An advertisement for pen turning start up kits. Didn't recognize the name, so I thought I would check them out. Looking at the "About us" page, I saw the bottom line, A Division of Steebar LLC Haven't heard about them for quite awhile. Kind of surprised to see an ad on the IAP after the ruckus we had over their not so good support & service a few years ago. BEWARE.

Don't worry Jason :biggrin: When I saw the ad for Start up kits, I thought about the new guy that's been asking for lathe recommendations.:wink: Hope he stays away from that outfit. Thanks for asking!:biggrin:

Andrew; If you look around the net, you will find that they have many names. I had ordered some kits from them before I read the bad press. I was going to write the order off as a learning curve. In their defence, I must say, the order was delivered on time, correct, and at a great price. Maybe I was just one of the lucky ones !! Jim S
