A Couple Twenty Five Cent Bowls

These are both 9.5" diameter. The piece of pine wood for each one was from the scrap box in a buildings supply store . 4.75" wide, x 3/4" thick x about 20" long and cost twenty five cents each.
The accents on one is walnut and on the other is cherry .

Sorry, I don't. I believe he is williamoyoung on you tube. I also think he uses a Ringmaster lathe so that may help you find him. Of course I could be totally wrong...

Those look great. I can't tell from the pictures...is the rim solid? Or, did you undercut the rim on the bottom side?
