These are the first kits I've ever made without a tube. I really like them although I know there is room for improvement. First one is Honduran rosewood Burl and the 2nd is cocobolo with sapwood. I had never done tubless before so I turned them like I would a bottle opener. Any suggestions on how to improve is welcome! Also, If anyone has any extra Honduran Rosewood Burl Id be interested!

Very nice !!!

It is rewarding to modify a kit as you have done.

What kit are you working with here ? . I don't recognize it.

This is actually a tubeless kit so I didn't modify it. Here is the link https://www.prokraft.co.uk/solid-brass-tubeless-pen-kits.html

they are fun kits. I will say be careful with the rollerball kit. The rollerball nib will only fit the one that comes with it so when customers go looking for a refill it might be difficult for them. I tried the Schneider, G2, and a Schmitt and they all did not fit. The fountain nib actually writes beautifully.

You can get refills on Amazon. I ordered 12 fine point Schmidt F888, 12 medium point F888, and 12 fine UniBene refills for just around $35.00. They will all fit those kit components.
