Thanks for all the kind words ! Actually this was my first Pencil and I have been saving the Asian Ebony just for it. In looking through all the photos of other Asian Ebony I have not been able to find any with similar grain. I felt this particular cut of AE was well suited for an " Artsy " persons pencil !

nice work on both pens... ironically, i just checked this post again and realized i had made the bizarro pen of your BEB. i made the EXACT same pen last night with chrome instead of gold and the whole time i was wondering what it would look like in gold... now i know and it looks great in both! and the burl looks hauntingly similar...
