I was curious about turning a razor so I turned one with an acrylic blank from wood craft, and My number one customer (my wife) saw the purse hangers in the PSI catalog that I have laying on my coffee table and requested that I make one for her. So I used a piece of green dyed buckeye burl and she loves it. Let me know what you think.

There is nothing more gratifying than to have your spouse want something from you that you can make. Every time I make a pen my wife is the first to see it. I often think that I am almost like a cat bringing a mouse to the master looking for approval. Our spouses are the most important critic that we can have in our lives. That hanger is just beautiful and I bet you were just so proud to give it to your wife.
 
She has been a great trooper when it comes to this as a hobby and money maker. It's kinda funny that the list of things she want's made keeps getting longer and longer.
