A couple of pens from my last casting

I poured a hybrid block last weekend with Maple Burl and alumilite dyed green with some mica for swirls. I think the celtic pen turned out pretty well with this a blank from this casting.



I also cast a couple of individual hybrid blanks with Blue, green, lavender and black alumilite and stacked that mold on top of the block mold in the pressure pot, The Executive kit has a nice long body to show the blank.



I am starting to get a feel for the process, but I have a long way to go.

The colors look great and the timber ends are very well positioned. I'd say a slam dunk!
