A couple of firsts

So this pen is a couple of firsts for me, the first clip that is sunk into the cap (my second clip total), the first wood/resin pen, and the first brass ring pen. I'm not totally enamored with the shaping of the cap, it's a bit long and chonky, but overall I learned quite a bit over the week or so it took me to make it. I think I'll go back to my rollerball sections for now, and regular full resin pens to further cement my threading and tapping skills but I've still got some African blackwood and a couple of the resin blanks of the same color I made. Big shout out to Rhys for his very informative videos on youtube.

Very nice. It may just be my eyes, but the section looks a little longer than typical, which is not a complaint. It looks good, but would contribute to the longer cap. Still, chonky works just because the brass rings are fairly thick. To me, it all came together very nicely.
