These salt bowls are a fun use for cut offs.

The tulipwood is about 3" wide and a little over 1" deep. The rosewood is 2 1/2" by 1"

wow small little bowls..next week someone will take your idea of little bowls and turn them into pendants or earrings!!!!!! HA...cute
 
Nice bowls Barry, Question though, does the salt just sit in them on the table or is there a lid involved? any "spoons" or just use your fingers and "pinch"? Never seen these but pretty nice work.
 
Very nice salt bows, I agree with Johnny on the tulipwood. Lupe some call a salt bowl a pinch bowl its used with out a spoon you just do like my Mom used to cook, a pinch of this and a pinch of that!
 
Really nice looking bowls. I never heard of "salt bowls" before. Seems like I learn something new on this forum everyday.

I haven't done any lids, but I do offer them with tiny spoons. These are the one's I've found lately:
