Actually the one on the left is a Polaris from Timberbits and the one on the right is an Atlas from WC.
My daughter asked me to make a black Altlas with the Red Pearl Acrylic Acetate I bought from Richard Greenwald at MAPG (thanks, Richard). As I was turning the one on the left, I lost concentration and a 3/4" chunk of the material came off at the cap end.
As it was just one piece, I used some CA and reattached the acrylic. After turning, the scar is barely visable, but as I know it is there, I dressed it in a chrome Polaris and am using it as a carry pen. I then went to work on another piece of the Red Pearl. This one captured all of my attention  and It came out well.
The contrast between the black hardware and the Red Pearl is stunning, but it is not a pen I would have made for myself. I hope my daughter likes her new pen.
