A pretty basic fountain pen I made for my wife a little while back. The material was some sort of Alumilite "lava explosion" mermaid something or other that I got from Exotic Blanks last year. She saw it and said something about it being pretty, so I figured it was hers at that point. I just needed to make something out of it first. The metal part of the section/junction bit is 304 stainless. The nib is a Bock 250 (#6) broad, steel. The converter is Schmidt k5. Ink is Aurora black.

Pen was made entirely on a Sherline 3"x17" lathe using a 4-jaw chuck. No mandrels, no collets. All the threads were single pointed including the triple start, 30tpi cap and barrel threads. The finish could have been better. :/
