60 degree centers

I have been using 60 degree centers to turn my pens and the last 2 pens are out of round on the live center side . What am I doing wrong?

First thing to check is the alignment of the 60 degree centers when they are together , with the tail stock locked . Possible causes of misalignment are a dirty Morse taper or lathe ways , plus a bunch of others . Lathe model ?

If you are turning between centers with bushings then also check to see if there is anything such as glue/finish on the bushings. Also check in the tubes.
