Let's try this one more time...

Measure your 5/8" toolrest from TOP to BOTTOM

Measure your 1" toolrest from TOP to BOTTOM

That's it, just those two measurements.

Here is a photo of how I want you to measure your toolrests...

This is my toolrest from my Jet 1642, you can see in the photo from TOP to BOTTOM this rest is 6 1/4".

Now measure both of yours and get back to me.
