Hello all. A potential customer asked me if I can do a certain job for him. For that I need a 5/32 x (approx) 5" long drill bit for wood. So far I have only seen masonry drill bits in this size. Anyone knows if this size drill can be obtained for wood?. Any vendor here happens to carry them?
Thanks in advance.

Monterrey is a pretty industrial city. If you check with one of the local tool and machinery suppliers they will probably have extra long 5/32" drill bits.

If not, you can get an 8" long 5/32 bit at Enco for less than $10. Don't know what shipping would be.

If you have large warehouse hardware stores, you might also find one there. You might have to buy a set to get a 5/32.

Thanks Ed. Monterrey may be a pretty industrial city, but believe it or not, I wasn't able to find the drill bits to turn an Emperor (37/64, 15/32). Had to wait and order from the kit supplier.
Thanks for the input, though.

Derek. I don't know about those. I need a drill bit that drills wood, not concrete or masonry.
