Do you know how to add the degree symbol as in the title of this post? I've wondered about this in the past and just now learned how. So without further ado………., you just hold down the 0 key a bit and it shows up. Life changing, well that might be an exaggeration, but pretty cool, non the less

I'm guessing you must mean on the phone keyboard. On a Windows computer, hold ALT while hitting 0176.
I have a few written on a post it note under my keyboard and that happened to be one of them.
That's my 2¢ (ALT + 0162) :D

I've accidentally discovered all sorts of strange things on the phone keyboard. Yeah, I didn't mean to type that. Where did it even come from? LOL

I;ve been doing that for years but it only works (for me) if I type the numbers from the NUM pad. The numbers above the letters don't work (for me)
FYI the diameter symbol Ø (ALT + 0216).
I've used this link for many a year for all the ALT codes.

Yes the phone keyboard.

If you are using Microsoft Word, select the "Insert" tab and then go to the Symbols option all the way to the top right (it should have an Omega Symbol ( "Ω" ). Select the drop down option and click on "more Symbols". You should now have all sorts of symbols to choose from.

If you are going to use symbols on a computer you need a number keyboard usually to the right of letter keys. The numbers on top will not work.
